I have a true passion for physical activity and believe it to be one of the most important parts of life. There are multiple positive effects of regular physical activity including improved cardiac and respiratory function, stronger bones and muscles, reduced risk of developing health conditions such as diabetes, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis and even certain types of Cancer, improved mental health and improved sleep. Exercise can be a daunting prospect, particularly if this is a new thing for you and often the thought of exercise or going to the gym can defeat you before you start. I believe exercise should be fun and as there are so many options out there, I’m sure you can find something to enjoy that can help you get results. Whether receiving Physiotherapy treatment or Personal Training, I will provide guidance and advice regarding the type of physical activity that is appropriate to you, the frequency in which you should participate in this activity depending on your current health and time constraints, and how you can progress this activity safely. One of the aims of Clifton Moor Physio & Personal training is to help the people of York become more physically active and to make this part of life!
